My Story
Born on 30 July 1991 in South Africa, I’ve had a deep passion for the arts and design for as long as I can remember. From dancing and competing in competitions at the age of three to creating art and embracing creativity in all areas of life, my childhood was filled with imagination and exploration. You could often find me painting or making a mess outdoors, fueled by curiosity and a love for self-expression.
I’m an avid gamer, animal activist, and music enthusiast, always seeking inspiration in life’s varied experiences. Moving back to South Africa in 2018 marked a pivotal moment in my journey as I returned to my core passion—technology and design. This led me to pursue a fulfilling career as a UI/UX Designer, SEO and Marketing Specialist, Website Designer, and Front-End Developer.
Throughout my career, I’ve embraced opportunities to combine creativity with technology. With over 13 years of experience in graphic design, web development, and instructional design, I’ve developed user-friendly interfaces, responsive websites, and innovative eLearning solutions. My talents are always expanding because I believe there’s no limit to how much one can grow. Currently, I’m focused on advancing my knowledge in Full Stack Web Development and Software Engineering, driven by a passion to push boundaries and innovate in my field.
I’m deeply committed to achieving the perfect balance between unique creativity and core design principles, particularly in UI/UX design, media production, and marketing content. Whether it’s creating intuitive platforms, empowering businesses with impactful branding, or designing dynamic learning materials, my work reflects a dedication to quality and innovation.
Along the way, I’ve had some incredible experiences:
- In 2017, I spent a transformative year on Alphonse Island, Seychelles, as a media producer, videographer, and photographer, collaborating with DROID and Anthony Grote. I also had the privilege of supporting wildlife conservation efforts with ICS Seychelles, contributing to beach cleanups and environmental projects.
- I’ve managed a team of freelance designers to deliver high-quality projects worldwide, helped start-ups establish impactful visual identities, and designed SaaS platforms that drive meaningful user experiences.
Academically, I hold a BA (Hons) Fine Arts degree from the University of Pretoria (2013) and have expanded my expertise through studies in Art Therapy, First Aid and Childcare, and numerous certifications in design, technology, and business analysis. My technical toolbox includes Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, along with expertise in SEO, eLearning platforms, and agile methodologies.
With an insatiable drive to succeed, I continually challenge myself to think outside the box and approach problems with fresh perspectives. My goal is to contribute to meaningful projects that combine design, technology, and education—leaving a legacy of impactful work that inspires and engages.
