Consistency is key to helping users feel comfortable and confident while navigating an interface. Consistent use of typography, colors, spacing, and UI components creates familiarity, reduces cognitive load, and improves usability.
Good design is inclusive design. Ensuring that all users, regardless of ability, can interact with the product is essential. This includes making sure the design is accessible to people with disabilities by following accessibility standards (WCAG) and providing options like alternative text, keyboard navigation, and color contrast.
